Image editing
A picture says more than a thousand words. Boooks draws up clear image plans and searches for the best image to bring your story to life. We can use existing images or new photographs.
Boooks works closely with archives, museums and image banks around the world and is specialised in iconographic research. We take care of image rights and copyrights and allow powerful images to speak for themselves.
Text editing
Boooks provides editing and version management for new texts and can instruct authors during the publishing process or keep them on track. Boooks also takes care of the text and linguistic editing or final content editing.
Supervision and checking of layout
Boooks prepares clear briefings so that the graphics team can quickly create an excellent job. Once the appropriate design has been finalised, by mutual agreement, we carefully check the layout of the pages. We painstakingly proofread every detail in texts, captions, page numbers, footnotes and titles.
Pre-press work
Extra attention is needed when printing art and photography books. Lithography and advice on the type of paper are just as important as the consistency of the content.
